Ayoub El Kaabi is a professional footballer from Morocco who plays as a forward. He was born on June 25, 1993, in Casablanca, Morocco. El Kaabi began his professional career playing for Racing de Casablanca in the Moroccan second division before moving on to RS Berkane in the Botola Pro, the top tier of Moroccan football.
El Kaabi gained international recognition during the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) where he finished as the tournament's top scorer with nine goals in five games, helping the Moroccan national team reach the final. He also won the Golden Boot award for his goal-scoring exploits.
In February 2018, El Kaabi signed with Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune, marking a significant move in his career. He has since also played for Wydad Casablanca in the Botola Pro.
